Broken window and front spotlight

Broken window

The broken front window was removed today and we are awaiting a replacement.

Replacing the glass was easy and Woods Glass in Wigan supplied a toughened glass replacement for the princely sum of £14.03, inc vat.  Bargain.
It was also ready for collection within 24 hrs and I would readily recommend using Woods glass should anyone have the need.

Removing the glass is so easy, removing the top of the frame is easy with liberal use of WD40.

Watch these screws as they are very small and difficult to find after they have made a bid for freedom!

Glass replaced in the frame and ready for refitting to the boat.

Screen Cover

Steve Whewell supplied and fitted a front screen cover, mainly for cosmetics as I like the way it looks, but also it helps to keep the condensation to a minimum and is excellent for a good nights sleep as it's pitch dark in the front cabin with this on.

Spotlight

Not sure you can tell from this picture but the bow roller is positioned slightly off centre, most don't notice but it was driving me mad.

Bow roller now removed, holes filled with gelcoat filler and the new remote control spot light fitted into place.

Spotlight is now wired in and working perfectly.
